PAC-MAN
Pac-Man, otherwise known as Puck-Man in Japan, is a 1980 Japanese arcade video game created by Toru Iwatani and developed by Namco. This is an action maze chasing game where you play as Pac-Man to eat allthe dots, power pellets/energizers, fruits, and other collectibles for points while avoiding the ghosts, or eating them for points. You do this by consuming power pellets where you are granted invincibility for a brief time and turn the tables on the frightened ghosts. However, if Pac-Man is caught by any one of the ghosts he loses a life, where he starts with three total but can gain extra for every 10000 points scored. After eating all the dots in a round Pac-Man advances to the next round where the player is greeted with a comical cut scene freaturing Pac-Man and the ghosts. Each round Pac-Man/Player gets to results in harder gameplay difficulty. There are 255 rounds of Pac-Man but if the player progresses to round 256 the game does not load in the information correctly causing the level to glitch and become unbeatable. However, a perfect score of 3,333,360 is obtainable at round 256 by sacrificing the rest of your lives to collect the dots that remaining dots from in the glitched part of the map which respawn on death. Only 11 people have ever played a perfect game of Pac-Man, the last being a Pennsylvania man named Jake Goldberg in April of 2022. The game has no proper ending as the developers never thought anyone would make it that far into the game.

All ghosts can be eaten after eating a power pellet. Eating one will grant the player 200 points and adds double for each one eaten in succession. (1 = 200, 2 = 200+400 and so on) The only way to get a perfect game is to eat all the ghosts each time you eat a power pellet across all the rounds you are able to.
That's right!

The player will not be able to eat the ghosts after round 20!

And last but not least...

Would can't finish this page without talking about the Main character himself.
Pac-Man is the character that the player controls. He is your typical hero - fearless, brave, and athletic! He has a family which he is protective of and is generally laid back. One thing Pac-Man has for sure is a big appetite!
